Three loops
schedule_brief stores cadence, timezone, recipients, platform scope, account scope, and output channels. Omitted cadence is weekly. Omitted timezone is UTC. Omitted platform scope is meta. Omitted output channel is dashboard. The dashboard form offers daily, weekly, and monthly. A recipient list on that form also sets the email channel. Call list_scheduled_tasks before creating another one.
An alert emails a prompt. test_monitor does not read live metrics. A forced test can record a pending pause_campaign, and that object still waits for approval.
Automation rules are a fourth loop. A saved rule is already active. test_automation_rule compares the metric_value you pass and does not call the platform. See Automation. Watch Agent is the separate admin scan. It is not this cadence.
What a run costs
Each tool call that runs counts as one call on the hosted plan. Approving an item in the dashboard does not add a call. See Pricing. A scorecard that callsget_connections_status and then generate_cross_platform_report is two calls before any extra platform read the agent adds. A monitor that only emails has not spent a write. Add the account id to the brief so the run does not scan every connected account.
Pause a schedule with manage_scheduled_task and action pause when the advertiser should drop out of the quota.
