YouTube ads run through the Google Ads connection. There is no separate YouTube OAuth step in ADSMCP. See Google Ads.

Order

  1. get_connections_status and get_google_ads_accounts.
  2. validate_youtube_video_asset checks the video metadata.
  3. validate_google_youtube_demand_gen_draft checks the campaign draft.
  4. create_google_youtube_campaign creates a paused campaign shell.
  5. create_google_video_ad creates a paused video ad on that campaign.
  6. enable_google_campaign is a separate approval. verify_google_campaign_is_live only reports status.
Demand Gen uses the same draft validator and its own paused create, create_google_demand_gen_campaign. A Demand Gen campaign is not a YouTube-only shell.
