# MCP configuration

> Connect Claude, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and other AI clients to the ADSMCP remote MCP endpoint.

Connect ADSMCP to your preferred AI environment.

## Prerequisite: API token

Generate a secure API token from the [dashboard MCP setup page](https://adsmcp.si/dashboard/mcp-setup). This token is the bridge between your AI client and your connected ad accounts. Prefer hosted OAuth when the client offers it. Use a bearer token when the client requires a header.

The remote MCP URL is `https://mcp.adsmcp.si/mcp`.

## ChatGPT custom connector

1. Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → enable Developer mode.
2. Create a connector named ADSMCP.
3. Server URL: `https://mcp.adsmcp.si/mcp`
4. Header: `Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_TOKEN`

## Claude connector

In Claude, open `claude.ai/customize/connectors`, add a custom connector, and use the same URL. Claude Code can also run:

## Direct remote MCP

## Cursor

1. Open Cursor Settings (`Cmd + Shift + J`).
2. Go to **General → MCP Server**.
3. Click **+ Add New MCP Server**.
4. Enter **Name:** `ADSMCP` and **Type:** `command`.
5. Command:

```

## Claude Desktop

Add ADSMCP to `claude_desktop_config.json`:
