# FAQ

> Short answers for connection, approval, quota, and client setup.

## Where is the MCP server?

`https://mcp.adsmcp.si/mcp`. The dashboard is [https://adsmcp.si](https://adsmcp.si). Docs search for coding agents is `https://docs.adsmcp.si/mcp`, which cannot call ad tools.

## Why did the client connect but the account is empty?

The client login and the ad-account grant are different. Open [Connections](https://adsmcp.si/dashboard/connections), finish OAuth, then call `get_connections_status`.

## Why is the new campaign not spending?

Creates stay paused. Spend starts only after you approve that change in [Ad Ops](https://adsmcp.si/dashboard/approvals) and the execution queue runs the approved payload.

## A write failed. Will it retry?

No. Read the error, then approve a corrected attempt. Failed approved work is visible from the dead-letter queue. See [Approvals](/approvals).

## What happens at the quota limit?

The call is rejected. `get_usage_status` shows the plan row. Spend-affecting writes also stop when the quota service cannot be reached. Limits are on [Pricing](/pricing).

## Which clients have slash commands?

Claude and Codex run `/adsmcp:setup`, `/adsmcp:performance-review`, `/adsmcp:write-ad-copy`, `/adsmcp:wasted-spend`, and `/adsmcp:campaign`. Other clients use the same words in plain language. The tool order does not change.

## Which account will the agent change?

If more than one account is connected, name the account id. The list is `list_connected_accounts`. Plan cards and the difference between a manager account and an ADSMCP login are on [Multiple accounts](/accounts).

## The call failed. Where do I look?

Use [Troubleshooting](/troubleshooting). Match `invalid_token`, `quota_exceeded`, `quota_check_unavailable`, `google_adapter_unavailable`, or `platform-withdrawn` before you resend a write.

## Can I use ChatGPT Ads?

No. ChatGPT can be the assistant that calls ADSMCP. Ads that run inside ChatGPT are not a catalog platform.
